Commissioner Danmaman also provided insights into a grave incident involving Hadiza Umaru, an alleged murder case where the victim was purportedly killed by her younger brother, Habibu Umaru, in association with an herbalist. According to preliminary findings, Hadiza was reportedly poisoned under the pretext of receiving treatment for so-called “evil spirits,” and her remains were subsequently interred in a shallow grave. Ongoing investigations have also unveiled additional burial sites in proximity to the original location, raising further concerns about criminal activities in the area.
