Richard Alandu, a Ghanaian near Burkina Faso, noted the rising awareness among African youth about the continent’s developmental challenges. He commented, “It appears Traoré has become the face of that consciousness.” As Burkina Faso faces persistent violence, it appears that Traoré’s leadership is rallying support among the people as he seeks foreign partnerships.
