The situation escalated when they tried to pry more cash from Kamrul’s car; during a struggle, one robber shot him in the chest, resulting in his immediate death.

Kamrul had aspirations to return to Bangladesh in a few months to marry, having recently completed construction of a new house in his hometown. His family, mourning the loss of their father, reported that their mother has been fainting from shock after receiving the devastating news. They have reached out to the Bangladesh embassy for assistance in repatriating Kamrul’s body.
