Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, disclosed that this event transpired around 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025.
The armed assailants reportedly entered the hotel under the pretext of being EFCC personnel conducting an official operation. Upon gaining access, they disabled the hotel’s CCTV cameras before systematically targeting individual guests in their rooms, forcibly taking them to an undisclosed location.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police from the State Intelligence Department has confirmed that an investigation is currently underway to identify those responsible for the abduction and to locate the victims.
