Liberia and China Sign Cooperation Agreement for Sustainable Development

On March 28, 2025, the Government of Liberia and the People’s Republic of China formalized a significant Economic and Technical Cooperation agreement aimed at fostering collaborative projects across multiple sectors. This agreement reflects a commitment towards enhancing peace, stability, prosperity, and sustainable development in Liberia, signed by Liberian Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti and Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu.
Chinese Ambassador Yin Chengwu expressed that the agreement exemplifies China’s deep friendship and steadfast support for Liberia. He emphasized that the funding allocated for the joint projects represents a crucial partnership aimed at achieving mutual goals defined through bilateral discussions.
