In the Saurabh Rajpur murder case from Meerut, police have uncovered that Muskaan Rastogi planned the murder by purchasing knives and rehearsing stabbing techniques a week prior. After drugging her husband, she, along with her lover Sahil Shukla, murdered Saurabh on March 3, dismembered his body, and attempted to conceal it in a cement-filled drum. Muskaan later confessed following a failed disposal attempt.

In a disturbing development in the Saurabh Rajpur murder case, police have disclosed that eight days prior to the crime, Muskaan Rastogi, Saurabh’s wife and the primary suspect, purchased two knives for 800 rupees and practiced multiple stabbing techniques. She also acquired a cut-throat razor, which was ultimately used to decapitate Saurabh. Both Muskaan and her accomplice, Sahil Shukla, have been apprehended for allegedly murdering Saurabh at their residence in Meerut on the night of March 3.

The gruesome murder involved dismembering the victim’s body into 15 pieces, which were subsequently placed in a plastic drum and buried under cement. These remains were discovered two weeks later, following Muskaan’s confession to her parents, who then notified the authorities. Saurabh’s family had previously reported him missing after being unable to reach him by phone.

The inquiry into this horrific crime unveiled a narrative fraught with betrayal, addiction, and cruelty. The evidence indicated that Muskaan and Sahil were involved in drug use and were concerned that Saurabh would intervene in their illicit activities. Despite being aware of his wife’s infidelity and contemplating divorce, Saurabh chose to stay for the sake of their six-year-old daughter. He had returned to Meerut from London for her birthday celebrations.

Police investigations revealed that Saurabh’s visa was nearing expiration, and he intended to renew it during his visit. His desire included relocating his wife and daughter to London, a proposal that Muskaan dismissed, preferring to remain in Meerut with Sahil. Consequently, Saurabh decided to take his daughter with him and had even initiated her passport application.

On the night of the murder, Muskaan allegedly drugged Saurabh using sleeping pills before stabbing him three times with a knife. Following this, she used the cut-throat razor to slit his throat; Sahil then severed the head. The couple went on to mutilate the corpse into 15 pieces, encasing them in a drum and sealing it with cement.

Initially, they had planned to cover Saurabh’s body parts with soil and plant a sapling within the drum. However, due to concerns regarding odour, they opted for wet cement to obscure the remains. They miscalculated the drum’s weight, leading to complications when they attempted to dispose of it with laborers whom they later called for assistance. This sequence of events prompted Muskaan to panic and ultimately confess the crime to her parents.

The Saurabh Rajpur murder case raises alarming questions surrounding domestic violence, infidelity, and the severe consequences of drug abuse. The details of Muskaan and Sahil’s calculated actions reflect a disturbing narrative of betrayal and ruthlessness. Their initial plans to conceal the crime reveal a profound misunderstanding of the gravity of their actions, further leading to the unraveling of a tragic family dynamic.
