Walton, the leading air conditioner brand in the country, has broadened its horizons by expanding its brand business in Sri Lanka, initiating the export of its commercial air conditioning units. The first shipment of both residential and commercial ACs was dispatched in the first week of this month, marking the company’s inaugural export of commercial ACs from Bangladesh. In Sri Lanka, Monik Trading Private Limited has been designated as the official distributor for Walton ACs.
Md. Tanvir Rahman, the Chief Business Officer of Walton AC, noted the company’s strategic focus on broadening its market presence across Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He expressed confidence in the substantial demand for air conditioning units in Sri Lanka and assured the establishment of comprehensive sales, marketing, and after-sales service facilities to solidify Walton’s position in the competitive market. Walton’s manufacturing facility, located in Chandra, Gazipur, adheres to international standards. This advanced plant specializes in producing environmentally conscious and energy-efficient AC units, including cassette, ceiling, chiller, and VRF models. Walton ACs incorporate innovative technologies such as frost clean, air plasma, three-in-one converter technology, and intelligent controls. Furthermore, the compressors utilize eco-friendly R-290 gas, and each AC unit is released to the market only after passing rigorous quality control assessments conducted by NASDAT-UTS, an internationally recognized testing laboratory.
