An Adelaide father is seeking assistance following the sudden and mysterious death of his affluent son in Casablanca, Morocco. Al McKenna, aged 47, reportedly passed away from a heart attack, as stated by his Moroccan girlfriend, Majda. However, the lack of an official death certificate and the rapid burial within two days have raised significant concerns among his family in Australia.

Al’s father, Allan Moorhead, shared his distress over the situation, stating, “It is soul destroying … I do not know where to move, I do not know what to do.” On February 22, Moorehead received a video call from Majda during which she informed him of Al’s death; he noted that Al’s body was visible in the call. Following this, he has reported a lack of communication from Majda.

Moorhead expressed frustration as Majda has not responded to his calls or messages. The family suspects that McKenna’s wealth might be linked to the circumstances surrounding his death, as he was an established entrepreneur with three companies in the United Kingdom. It should be noted that 9News does not imply any involvement of Majda in McKenna’s demise. The Department of Foreign Affairs is currently investigating the matter and is providing consular support to the family.

In summary, the sudden death of Al McKenna in Morocco has prompted his father to plead for assistance in uncovering the truth surrounding the circumstances of his son’s passing. The absence of an official death certificate and the quick burial have raised serious questions, especially given the family’s concerns regarding McKenna’s wealth. Efforts by the Department of Foreign Affairs to investigate are ongoing, reflecting the family’s urgent need for clarity and justice.
