Kalicharan Mas won the 31st San Fernando title, highlighting a successful Carnival season. The event featured notable wins from Trinidad All Stars and The Lost Tribe, among others. The results were officially announced on March 7, displaying diverse themes and participation across various band categories.

Kalicharan Mas has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning his 31st title as large band of the year at the San Fernando Carnival. This year’s event featured notable performances, with Trinidad All Stars, Ronnie & Caro, and The Lost Tribe also earning recognition in various categories within the Downtown, Uptown, and San Fernando regions, respectively.

The results were announced on March 7. The Uptown category saw The Lost Tribe winning the large band title with their theme “Lost in Time,” gaining an impressive score of 260 points, while Trinidad All Stars secured second place with their presentation “Sailors Ashore in Brazil,” accumulating 219 points. In the medium-band category, K2k Alliance took first with “Holy Trespasses.”

In the smaller bands, Vibez Rhythm Band won the small-band title and was followed by Exodus Sailore and Antourage Productions. At San Fernando, Kalicharan Mas triumphed with his 31st large band victory, while Fireworks Carnival placed second. Other categories in San Fernando were topped by Jagessar Costumes in medium-band and Alvin Maynard and Friends in small-band.

In addition, the Downtown Carnival results for the Road March revealed Machel Montano’s song “Pardy” as the most played track, followed by Bunji Garlin’s “Carry It” and Yung Bredda’s “Greatest Bendover.”

Overall, in the Downtown Carnival results, Trinidad All Stars and Ronnie & Caro claimed victories in large band categories, while K2k Alliance and Kinetic Mas excelled in medium and small bands, respectively. In colorful bands, Paparazzi Carnival was recognized as the most colorful large band with their presentation “Canvas.”
