The incident occurred at Buckas Scheme on Third Street in Trench Town, Kingston 12. The police have requested him to report to the Denham Town Police Station by 6:00 PM on Thursday.
The victim, a 36-year-old vendor, sustained life-threatening injuries during an argument with Roberts. Reports indicate that he produced a firearm and shot her in the left hand and chest. After being shot, she escaped but subsequently collapsed before being taken to the hospital.
The confrontation, which began at approximately 7:40 PM, was reportedly instigated by jealousy related to the victim’s current boyfriend.
