Body of Tirunelveli Man Repatriated After Tragic Shooting in Jamaica

Despite attempts by Vignesh and two colleagues to thwart the robbery, gunfire erupted, resulting in Vignesh’s immediate death, while his colleagues were injured and hospitalized.

After receiving news of the horrific incident, Vignesh’s family mobilized assistance from governmental authorities to facilitate the return of his remains for a proper burial. Several officials, including Tirunelveli Member of Parliament C. Robert Bruce and Palayamkottai MLA M. Abdul Wahab, joined mourners in honoring the deceased. MP Bruce emphasized the continuous efforts made through the Indian embassy to expedite the repatriation process.
